Vocab Tunes app for iPhone and iPad

This is a very unique vocabulary learning system, the first one of its kind! It consists of 21 musical videos to which children can sing, dance, and have lots of fun while learning something at the same time. This will enable any child to be able to learn 100,000 words. The typical high school graduate only knows 40,000 words so this is a very powerful program.

Well documented research has shown that if you combine 2 Greek and 12 Latin roots with 20 prefixes it will generate 100,000 words. But I modified that by adding 4 more high frequency root words and 10 suffixes to make it more comprehensive and better understandable.

Why create a root word based program?
First these root words are everywhere, 60% of English, 71% of social studies, 90% of scientific terminology and practically all of math terms are based on these root words.
Second, the human brain works as a pattern detector,so it can easily capture these patterns for grouping many related words together.
Third, the brain can easily do the input, storage, and recall of a large number of related words very easily.

Finally, all of of us like to have fun. While learning root words in general is considered a very dull subject, combined with the songs and dances in the videos, it makes for an engaging learning experience.
